One of the few racing games I really like is some of the need for speed series... my favorite being Carbon.

But is this what the need for speed franchise really about?


to be honest that trailer looks like its focusing more on graphics and realism than plot on gameplay.

I remember carbon being awesome because of its story, the racing wars, and the unique appeal about its shiny graphics. I loved racing and drifting with ease and feeling like my racing crew could take over the world.

Could this teaser trailer feed me what I want? From the looks of it, no. It looks rather bland and too real for me. I'm not into forza or GRID.

It's just not my thing.
Hopefully I'll see some more of need for speed's signature flavor.
